一、「看話參禪」頓悟法門

The Sudden Enlightenment Method of Kan Hua Can Chan (“Investigating the Huàtóu”)

中國禪宗始於達摩西來，衣法流佈至南宋大慧宗杲，拈出祖德明心見性之法，直指看箇話頭、疑情頓發、破疑開悟是成佛之道。

Mahayana Chan Buddhism originated with Bodhidharma’s journey from the West. His teachings were transmitted through the generations to Great Master Dahui Zonggao of the Southern Song, who emphasized the method of directly realizing one’s original nature through directly investigating the huàtóu (critical phrase or subject of inquiry, such as “Who is dragging this corpse?”), arousing great doubt, and breaking through it to attain awakening—this is the way to Buddhahood.

慧門禪師親授「看話參禪」，搭配坐香、跑香、提撕、棒喝逼拶、作務習禪、山水行禪，在行住坐臥中行細行，或借助宇宙自然的寧靜，以虛空為禪堂，以大地為蒲團，引導行者往內心深處探索圓融自性，帶領您走一趟開悟之旅。

Chan Master Huimen personally teaches Kan Hua Can Chan paired with sitting and running meditation, interrogations, shouting techniques, and walking meditation in nature. In all postures—walking, standing, sitting, lying—one practices with diligence and subtlety, drawing on the stillness of nature, making the vast skies as our meditation hall and the great earth as our meditation cushion. This guides practitioners to deeply seek inwards and embark on the path to enlightenment.

二、禪七資訊 Winter Retreat Schedule

◆備註 Notes

1. 每期禪七，請於報到當日 10:00~15:30 完成報到手續，逾時不受理。

For each retreat session, please report to the monastery and complete the registration process on the check-in day between 10:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Late arrivals will not be accepted.

2. 需完整參與一期禪七，不接受禪七期間中途報到或離山。

Participants must attend the entire retreat session. Mid-retreat check-ins or early departures are not permitted.

3. 為不影響大眾專修，除冬制第一期禪七、泰元禪七開放提早來山安單外，其餘期別請於報到當日再來山。

To maintain the conducive environment for the practice, only the first retreat, Session 1 of the Winter Retreat and the Taiyuan Retreat Session 8, allow early arrival for room assignment. For all other sessions, please arrive on the designated check-in day.

4. 第一、三、五七，午齋後放香；

For the 1st, 3rd, and 5th retreat sessions, there will be a short break after lunch. The retreat resumes in the evening.

第二、四、六、七七及泰元禪七，早齋後放香。

For the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th retreat sessions, and the Taiyuan Retreat, the short break will be after breakfast.The retreat resumes in the evening.

◆相關費用 Related Fees

整理費（台幣500元）、保險費、洗衣費等等於報到時繳交。

Cleaning fee (NT$500), insurance, laundry, etc., are to be paid at check-in.

歡迎隨喜護持禪七運作及道場建設。

Donations to support the operation of the retreat and the monastery’s development are warmly welcomed.

三、報名對象 Eligibility

17 歲以上，並且願意遵守本寺「禪七注意事項」之僧俗四眾。

All lay and ordained practitioners aged 17 and above who agree to follow the monastery’s “Chan Qi Guidelines”.

四、禪七注意事項 Retreat Guidelines

1. 寮房、舖位、禪堂座位、齋堂座位、膳食悉由執事安排。不能接受常住安排者，請勿報名及報到。

Dorm rooms, bedding, meditation and dining seats, and meals will be arranged by the staff.

Please do not register if you cannot accept these arrangements.

2. 禪七不另設病寮。若您有身心障礙疾病或重大疾病，請於報名表單上如實告知；若隱瞞不說，經報到或日後發現，本山一律不接受報到並將請您下山。

No infirmary is available. If you have physical or mental health conditions, you must declare them truthfully in the application. If undeclared and later discovered, you will be asked to leave.

3. 禪七期間嚴守禁語 (不闖靜、不聽響、不笑語、不比手劃腳、不傳遞紙條、不眉來眼去…)，完全遵守禪堂規約及禪七作息表，不遲到不早退，隨眾出坡。

Strict silence is to be maintained: no talking, gesturing, eye signals, note-passing, or disruptions. Adherence to all schedules is required.

4. 禪七期間僅學習、接受、使用主七和尚教授之看話參禪法門。

Only the method of “Investigating the Huàtóu” taught by the Head Master will be practiced.

5. 禪七期間禁止使用電子通訊產品。具有通訊功能之智慧型手錶、手機、平板、電腦等設備一律關機，並交由常住保管。

All electronic devices must be turned off and handed to the monastery for safekeeping.

6. 個人貴重物品 (如護照、機票、相機、現金、信用卡…等)，於報到時可交由常住統一保管，否則本寺不負遺失、損污等及所衍生之任何責任。

Valuables (passport, tickets, camera, cash, credit cards) can be kept by the monastery.

Otherwise, bring them at your own risk.

7. 禁止私自錄影、錄音及照相等行為。

Unauthorized video/audio recording or photography is strictly forbidden.

8. 請著棉、麻等不易發出聲響之服裝，避免使用塑膠袋收納、盛裝物品，以免干擾大眾。

Wear quiet clothes (cotton/linen); avoid noisy plastic bags or containers.

9. 願善護大眾健康，禪七期間配合政府及本寺機動調整 COVID-19 防疫要求及措施。

To safeguard health, participants must comply with evolving COVID-19 prevention measures.

10. 無故自行離寺者不得再入寺。離寺後所有個人行為及發生一切事件悉與本寺無關，本寺亦無任何責任。

Anyone who leaves the monastery without permission will not be readmitted and all responsibilities thereafter are their own.

11. 若未遵守或違犯上列事項者，本寺「禪堂執事會議」得視情事議決處置方式，最重得請出堂下山。

Violations may be reviewed by the Committee and may lead to dismissal from the retreat.

12. 為整體安全考量，由本寺統一代購禪七期間意外醫療保險，保費於報到時繳交，同意者始得報名（保險費以台幣計價；海外入境的非台灣籍人士，建議行前也在您的國家購買旅遊平安險加海外突發疾病醫療保險）。

For safety, accident insurance will be purchased collectively and paid at check-in.

International attendees should also buy their own travel insurance.

13. 您填寫的個人資料，僅供本寺辦理禪修活動及推廣法務使用，不另做他用，請詳實填寫。有意或重大疏失填寫不實不全者，本寺得以不錄取，或錄取後不接受報到。

All personal information will be used solely for retreat purposes. Inaccurate or incomplete forms may lead to disqualification.

2. 花蓮—力行禪寺

Hualien to Lixing Chan Monastery:

*禪寺人力及資源有限，不安排到花蓮市的接送，請見諒！

Due to limited resources, the mon0astery does not offer pickup service from Hualien City.

◆方式一：搭乘統聯(或興東)客運在水璉站下車，接駁上山。

Option 1:  Take UBus (or Xingdong) to Shuilian Station and wait for monastery shuttle.

於花蓮火車站東站前方之花蓮轉運站，搭乘1140 (花蓮-靜浦)  或1145 (花蓮-成功)路線。花蓮至水璉車程約1小時。

From Hualien Station East Exit, go to Hualien Bus Station and take route 1140 (Hualien–Jingpu) or 1145 (Hualien–Chenggong), about 1 hour.

可上下車刷悠遊卡，車上不找零。上車時請來電告知本寺開車時間以便接駁（接駁最晚至 15:00 為止）。

EasyCard can be used. No change is given onboard. Call the monastery to confirm shuttle pick-up. Last shuttle is at 15:00.

七、應備衣物 What to Bring

1. 在家居士請著輕便、寬鬆的素色衣褲或居士服。

Lay practitioners should wear simple, loose-fitting, plain-colored clothing or lay robes.

2. 請自備以下物品

Please bring the following items :

1. a) 小閙鐘、手電筒。

Small alarm clock, flashlight.

1. b) 身份證明文件、健保卡、護照等證件。

ID, National Health Insurance card, passport, etc.

1. c) 室內乾淨止滑運動鞋(跑香用)、室外運動鞋(行禪用)。

Clean indoor non-slip sports shoes (for walking meditation), outdoor sports shoes (for outdoor meditation).

1. d) 個人盥洗清潔用品 (牙刷/膏、毛巾、沐浴乳/肥皂、洗髮精、女性生理用品)、室內拖鞋、枕巾二條、換洗及保暖衣物 (如禦寒外套、毛衣帽、圍巾、衛生衣褲、襪子、暖包等)、戶外遮陽帽、輕便雨衣雨傘等。

Personal hygiene items, indoor slippers, two pillow towels, warm clothing, rain gear.

1. e) 口罩、自用藥品、保溫水杯。

Masks, personal medications, thermal mug.

3. 泰元禪七期間不提供衣物送洗，請備齊足夠衣物。

No laundry service during the Taiyuan session. Bring enough clothing.

辭歲迎新 禮懺總迴向

百丈山力行禪寺方丈 ^上演^下中 和尚、住持 ^上如^下廣 和尚主法，領常住僧團假力行禪寺大雄寶殿，於2026年2月14 日～18日(臘月廿七～正月初二) 禮拜梁皇寶懺十卷暨三時繫念佛事乙堂，謹以禪七用功、法會禮懺攝心淨慮，靜動參究之功德做迴向，祈願冥陽兩利，國泰民安，法輪常轉，正法永住。

◆法會功德項目：消災、超薦牌位，以及供僧、供花供果、打齋供眾、贊普等植福。

費用隨喜。
